How can Postboard be free?
We're building infrastructure for independent professionals. The more people who use Postboard, the more valuable the network becomes. We make money when successful users choose to upgrade for premium features like custom domains and advanced analytics. We'll never take a percentage of your earnings.
What's the catch?
There isn't one. The Free tier is a complete product, not a trial. Free proposals show 'Powered by Postboard' at the bottom—that's our only ask. Upgrade to Pro to remove it.
Will you start charging later?
The core product will always be free. We may add premium features over time, but we'll never take your existing features away or charge commissions on your work outside of standard payment processing fees.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. You can create your account, build your profile, and send proposals without ever entering payment information. We only ask for it if you decide to upgrade to Pro.
